I shall be joined in the studio by EVcast’s resident British geek, John Honniball of OldSadThings. We’ll be looking at what is inside a battery and how they work, exploring the similarities and differences between electric vehicle batteries and the ones powering your laptop, mobile telephone and other gadgets. We’ll also explore the future of battery technology and ask “where do we go from here?” as well as examine how a battery charges and how power is distributed throughout the vehicle.
